Double Your Storage with Simple Upcycled Closet Ideas

If you’re like me you probably have stuff in your closet that never seems to get put away. From wayward jewelry and scarves, to unorganized shoes and purses, there’s never been a good way to store them. That is, until now.

It’s as easy as turning your unwanted, unused, and yes, even recycled items into wonderfully savvy closet storage hacks.

I’ve rounded up over a dozen closet hacks that I hope will help you wrangle your messies and get them organized once and for all:

1. Framed Closet Organizer

This super closet idea can handle everything from scarves to bling. This super hack uese a variety of different sized hooks to do the hard work. Tutorial: Look What I Did

2. Hanging Closet Beauty Caddy

Utilize your vertical space in your closet with ease and get organized with this super bucket caddy. To make one yourself, you’ll need some old metal sand buckets (clean paint buckets will do, too!), rope, and a 3M wall hanger. Then make it as long or short as you want.

3. Soda Tab Clothes Hangers

Instead of throwing away those soda can tabs, give them extended life by using them to organize your wardrobe. It’s as simple as slipping it over a hanger. That way, you’ll get twice as much hanging space.

4. Laundry Basket Organizer

How clever is this? A dresser of sorts made with laundry baskets for your closet. Not only will your clothes be organized you can use these laundry baskets to take your used clothing to your local laundry mat already divided into white, dark, and mixed colors.

5. Shower Hook Hangers for Scarves and Tank Tops

It takes a little ingenuity to make space in a tight closet. Take this super idea, for example. All you need is a dozen or so shower hooks, a wooden or metal hanger, then organize your scarves as shown in the image below. This idea also works for tank tops, belts and more.
