Amazing Low-Cost Fourth of July Party Ideas
This Fourth of July add a bit of sparkle and, of course, the Red, White and Blue with these super DIY projects, tips and tricks that are quick and easy to do, plus easy on the budget.
1. Fourth of July Decorations
Of course, you’ll want to include everything red, white, and blue. But you don’t have to settle for just the stars and stripes. You’ll find that you can incorporate plaids or even polka dots with the same festive effect. Solid colors work well too. And, don’t forget the bling of sparklers and lacy stars.
Party Tip: If you plan well with the items you purchase, any leftover party supplies can be used for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, Birthday celebrations, too.

5. 4th of July Table Setting
It’s easy to see how you can take just a few well-chosen items and make a fantastic table setting for the Fourth of July. Polka dots take front and center stage, along with a cloth U.S. flag placemat and mini flags in a bud vase.

6. Patriotic Fruit Platter
One of my favorite tips is to use a neutral white plate–in this case, heart-shaped for creating a patriotic fruit salad. You’ve probably got a platter or two around the house that isn’t being used. Then, simply layer the fruit as seen in this image or make mini fruit kebabs. It’s quick and easy.
7. Sweet Star-Spangled Cupcakes
It’s easy to see how you can raise your desserts to spectacular with this red cake stand. You can also give your favorite cupcake recipe a sparkling send-off with white butter cream frosting, as well as festive decorations.
