This recipe for Ham and Cheese Frittata is a family favorite recipe that I make quite often at home. What I love about this recipe is that it offers a lot of time-saving options that won’t compromise the taste.

There’s no need for special pans or advanced cooking methods and is the perfect meal choice whether you serve it for breakfast or a weeknight dinner.

This frittata takes less than couple of minutes to assemble and bakes up in a jiffy.

Best of all, you can mix and match the ingredients to suit your dietary needs.

You can even make this recipe meatless. Just skip the meat and add as much or little vegetables as you like, for a delicious vegetarian meal.

Love bacon? Who doesn’t! You can easily substitute the ham with your favorite brand of cooked bacon.

How to Make Ham and Cheese Frittata

Step 1

First, preheat your oven for 375 degrees F and spray your ceramic baking dish liberally with non-stick spray.

Step 2

Next, crack six eggs into a glass mixing bowl and beat them until they turn a pale yellow color and pour this into prepared ceramic baking dish.

Step 3

I like to use prepared hashed browned potatoes, like Simply Potatoes.  Evenly distribute a handful or two over the egg mixture. You can also use finely chopped, peeled potatoes, if you’d like.

Step 4

Finish by adding chopped ham and onions and topping with shredded cheese.

Then, put the frittata into the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 5

Remove and let cool for about five minutes before serving.

Slice and eat. It’s that simple!
