My Gift to Baby Jesus Stocking Project

With all of the hoopla surrounding the holiday season, it is easy to lose sight of what is important, what Christmas should really mean. To turn this mindset around, here is a wonderful Advent project that is adjustable for one or more: My Gift to Baby Jesus Stocking Project. It is as simple as 1, 2, 3.

Supplies You Will Need:

• Buy or make a Christmas Stocking with the name “Jesus” on it like the one shown in this article’s feature image (above).

• Advent Activity-Blank Jesus Stocking (PDF)

Instructions

1. Print out the blank Jesus stocking (PDF above).

2. For each day of Advent, challenge the members of your family to do acts of kindness, justice, generosity and love. As you do, list it on your stocking for each act accomplished on your stocking.

3. Eventually, the stocking will be completely filled with all the good deeds you’ve done. Place this sheet in your homemade or bought Jesus stocking and offer these to the Baby Jesus on Christmas Day.
